Xeldo's Platformer Game 2

This is a small platformer game that I made using the Godot engine to see what my current skill level is. I only have a few months of experience, so feedback is greatly appreciated.  

Note 1: I made this on a Steam Deck so I don’t know if that will create problems with the size of everything on bigger screens.

Note 2: There is no save and load system so you have to complete the game in one sitting because your progress won’t get saved.

SUMMARY

Explore the map while collecting items and killing enemies to reach the end.

Platform on the platforms while platforming in this platformer.

Dash and stomp through obstacles.

FEATURES

• A big 10-15 minute long linear level to complete.
• The ability to dash and stomp for more speed.
• Multiple items like a sword to fight enemies or a torch.
• Different enemies that will try their best to kill you.
• Several objects like spikes, platforms, and ladders to use.
• A day-night cycle.
• A checkpoint system.

ISSUES

• Audio will sometimes cutoff if there is a sound playing and another sound gets played before the first sound finishes.
• You can get stuck in the walls if you keep dashing multiple times.
• The health system is weird, don't be surprised if you don't die even at 0 health.
• Expect lag spikes at the start.

RUNNING THE GAME

1. Download the exe file if you are on a Windows computer or the x86_64 file if you are using Linux. The files are above the comments.
2. Double click on the file in your downloads folder and run it.
